Old Town Grill is a great stop. Good food, great service, nice vibe (and a killer mimosa btw). My wife hade the smoked brisket sandwich - very tasty. I had the eggs, sausage and pancakes breakfast - enormous! Good menu. Lots of options on the menu. We will be back!

In Auburn for the day, and decided to take a chance on this restaurant. Well, so happy I chose this place! I was immediately greeted by a friendly server named Sowsan, and she showed me to my table. It happened to be in her section anyway, and she was so friendly and attentive to anything I needed. I came in around brunch time, so I opted for an omelette with fresh fruit and an English muffin, and it did not disappoint. The food came out in good time, everything looked lovely and pleasant, and for one person, the portion was more than enough. The fruit was fresh and flavorful as was the avocado on top of the omelette. I also ordered an almond milk latte, and Sowsan made it for me. She even asked if I wanted cinnamon on top, which, of course, yes! The ambience of this place is casual and cute, with cheerful plastic table cloths featuring sunflowers and decorations of more sunflowers and chickens on the wall. There is an espresso bar where they can make anything you want that's coffee-related! Sowsan also informed me they make hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream, which I will definitely have to get the next time I'm passing through. In my opinion, this restaurant is family friendly. There's also an outdoor patio, so if the weather is nice, I would bring children and sit outside. Inside would be fine as well, but since it is a more cozy space, if your children like to be on the active side, sitting outside would be a more comfortable experience. Overall, I'm very happy that I chose this place to have my brunch at. The prices, the ambience, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the historical aspect of the building all made for a wonderful and pleasant experience. I look forward to dining here again the next time I am in Auburn.

Shared the crab cake Benedict with my dining companion and it was really great. The crab cake was the same size as the English muffin half it sat on and the hollandaise sauce over the poached egg made it a delicious combination. We opted to have fruit and it was varied and complemented the crab Benedict perfectly. The other dining companions had the corned beef hash and eggs with hash browns and sour dough toast and they were happy with their order except they had to flag down the wait person to request their toast and didn't manage that until they were just about done eating their meal. The four of us shared the bread pudding with brandy sauce. We ordered the one with the walnuts and while it was delicious, there weren't very many nuts. It was certainly enough for more than four people; we couldn't finish it. This was a good find and I would recommend it, especially since The Pour Choice had such a long line of people waiting to get in. I can't imagine that their food could be that much better!

Ok first of all the wanna say this was our first time in Auburn so didn't know anything about the places to stay or eat out here so saying that you know i yelped the area for food and places to stay for a wedding we went to for our cousins!! This breakfast lunch place had good reviews and also there was a place across the street also but we decided to try this place!! First of all the ambiance with seating inside and outside really nice!! We sat on outside balcony plus perfect Sunday weather!!! We had a real nice lady serving us!! She was great!!!we had a nice breakfast with coffee and a side of pancakes that were super great flavor!!! Omg!!! This place was really good and we will try to come out to try more!! Great little shops in area !! Come check it out!! I will put a couple of pics I took!! Hope you like!!

We were traveling and decided to stop in Old-town Auburn for breakfast and we found the Old Town Grill, it was perfect. We got to sit outside they had many mimosa choices and the menu selection was big. My husband and I split the egg scramble with biscuits & gravy on the side instead of toast! The food was delicious and the service superb and for California the price was just right. Look forward to another visit in the future.

Perfect little breakfast and lunch spot. Food was fresh and delicious but the service was exceptional. Definitely splurge for the bread pudding. Worth it.

Open on New Years Day for breakfast! Delicious food, quick service, and ready to accommodate a large number of people indoors or out on the terrace with heaters! So happy we stopped here and took a chance on a new place. We had the potato skin Benedict and chicken fried steak. Both were good, but the Benedict was better. I've never liked hollandaise but theirs was delicious. We will be back.

The Old Town Favorite is a great place for breakfast. Don't expect to come out of here hungry - as you'll be stuffed to the gills with the amount of food you get. Don't pass this place up, especially if you're HANGRY! The service was great. The servers weee on top of it all - choice of tables, coffee topped off and piping hot food. We both ordered the special "chicken fried steak". Came with choice of potatoes, choice of 2 eggs and choice of toast, pancake or biscuit with gravy. .com!!

This was more of a 3.5 star experience, but I rounded up. Quality/Quantity - Today we got the following: Cashew Chicken Croissant - Our friend's favorite. Subbed sourdough for a croissant. Also came with a greek salad and fries, and we sub sweet potato fries with NO extra charge. Caveman - Brisket sandwich, generous quantity of brisket, but I would have preferred slices of brisket versus chunks. And I did not expect a "hamburger bun." Out of toasted french rolls? The bread killed the sandwich. Sweet potato fries were good, not over salted and with no extra charge! Berries French Toast - This was the hit of the meal. Generous portions, 6 half slices and amazing homemade whipped cream. Was the butter also homemade? Decent amount of berries, but of course, the more the merrier. I'm told this place is best known for their breakfast which I will get next time! Atmosphere - Huge place, indoor/outdoor dining. Loved the decor throughout. Brick/stucco walls, see picture. Nostalgic decor throughout, including in the bathrooms, etc. Street parking, good luck. There is a paid parking lot next to the restaurant, but if you don't mind walking, you can find a spot a block or so away. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 3pm. FYI your website has a discrepancy in your hours. Do you open at 7am or 8am? Are you open for dinner Thursday to Saturday? Service - Sowsan and her team were good. She gave good suggestions and quick friendly service. The rest of the team was also very accommodating. We had a leisurely two hour lunch... Deliver - Doordash, FoodJets, Grubhub. Price - $41 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success for the last 6+ years. We plan to spend more time in Auburn, well after we put out all the fires...

Walt from Walt's Adventures here and I find myself on old town Auburn, ca. I am in the Old Town Grill. They are open for breakfast and lunch and it's a great place to eat. Our large mugs of tea never reached half glass. The staff not just refilled our teas but ice first. This never happens at other eateries. The food was great and if you want a good place to eat, look no further than the old town grill
